Materials

Instructions

Head: Use Beige yarn. Start with a MR. Round 1: 6 sc in MR (6). Round 2: 6 inc (12). Round 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18). Round 4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24). Round 5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30). Rounds 6-11: sc in each st around (30). Insert 6mm safety eyes between rounds 8 and 9, about 5 sts apart. Round 12: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24). Round 13: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18). Stuff head firmly. Round 14: (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12). Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Ears (Make 2): Use Beige yarn. Ch 4, starting in second ch from hook: 1 sc, 1 hdc, (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) in last ch. Work on opposite side of chain: 1 hdc, 1 sc. Fasten off, leaving a tail. Sew ears to the sides of the head at the level of the eyes.

Spell Book: Use Dark Brown yarn. Ch 9. Row 1-6: sc in each st across (8). Fasten off. Embroider ‘SPELLS’ and a tiny star on the front cover using Gold embroidery thread. Sew cream felt or paper pages inside, fold in half, and sew the book securely into the fairy’s hands.

Assembly: Sew the head to the body. Attach the silver keychain loop to the top center of the head, securing it tightly through the hair cap.
