Materials

• Insert safety eyes between Rnd 10 and 11, approximately 6-7 stitches apart.

• For the mustache, crochet a small separate chain of 5-6 stitches, then work BOB stitches back along the chain or work 2-3 BOB stitches into a magic ring.

Satchel (Light Tan Yarn)

Main Pouch:

• Ch 10.
• Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (9 sc). Ch 1, turn.
• Row 2-10: 9 sc. Ch 1, turn.
• Fold the rectangle in half and sc or sl st the sides together to form a pouch.

Flap:

• Attach yarn to the back top edge of the pouch.
• Ch 1, sc across for 5 sts. Ch 1, turn.
• Row 1-3: 5 sc. Ch 1, turn.
• For the buckle, crochet a tiny rectangle (e.g., ch 3, sc in 2nd ch, sc, ch 1, turn; repeat for 2 rows). Sew onto the flap.

Strap:

• Ch 30-40 (adjust length as desired). Sc back along the chain.
• Sew the strap to the sides of the satchel.

Assembly and Finishing

• Using the long tail from the body, sew the head to the top of the body, ensuring it’s centered and secure.
• Sew the arms to the sides of the body just below the neck.
• Sew the satchel to the body, draping the strap across the chest as seen in the image.
• With pink yarn and a tapestry needle, embroider small blush marks on the cheeks under the eyes.
• Weave in all remaining loose ends.
