Crochet Pattern: Micro Crochet Doritos Snack Cart Keychain Free Pattern

Materials

• Embroidery floss or size 80/40 crochet thread in Red, Orange, Yellow, Black, Light Grey, and White
• 0.6mm or 0.75mm crochet hook
• Polyester fiberfill for stuffing
• Thin craft wire for reinforcing the canopy posts (optional)
• Felt scraps (black and orange) and textile glue for the logo
• Keychain ring with chain
• Tapestry needle and scissors

Abbreviations

• ch – chain
• sc – single crochet
• inc – increase
• dec – decrease
• hdc – half double crochet
• sl st – slip stitch
• BLO – back loops only
• FLO – front loops only

Instructions

Cart Body (in Red yarn):

• Ch 10.
• Rnd 1: Start in second ch from hook: 8 sc, 3 sc in the last ch, turn to work on opposite side of chain: 7 sc, inc in the last ch (20 sts).
• Rnd 2: BLO sc around (20 sts).
• Rnd 3-6: Sc around (20 sts).
• Rnd 7 (Change to Yellow): Sl st in each st around to create the rim. Fasten off, leaving a tail for weaving in. Stuff lightly.

Canopy (Striped Red & Orange):

• Using Red, Ch 11.
• Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across, turn (10 sts).
• Row 2: Change to Orange, ch 1, sc across, turn (10 sts).
• Row 3: Change to Red, ch 1, sc across, turn (10 sts).
• Repeat pattern, alternating colors every row until you have 10 rows.
• Wavy Border: Join Red at one of the long edges, (ch 2, dc in next st, ch 2, sl st in next st) across to create a scalloped awning effect.

Canopy Posts (Make 4, in Light Grey):

• Ch 6, sl st down the chain. Fasten off, leaving a tail to attach the canopy to the cart body. You can insert a thin craft wire inside the posts to keep them rigid.

Wheels (Make 2, starting with Light Grey then Black):

• Rnd 1 (Grey): 5 sc in magic ring, sl st to first st.
• Rnd 2 (Black): FLO (2 sc in each st) around (10 sts). Fasten off, leaving a tail to sew onto the lower edge of the red cart.

Assembly & Details:

• Sew the four posts to the inside corners of the cart body, then sew the top ends of the posts to the canopy corners.
• Sew the two wheels to the bottom front of the cart.
• Attach a small chain handle (Grey) to the rear side of the cart.
• For the Doritos logo, cut a tiny triangle of orange felt, glue it to the front, and use white embroidery floss to sew the word Doritos across the triangle.
• Attach your keychain ring to the canopy corner.
