Materials

• Lace weight yarn or size 10 crochet thread in Red and Green
• 0.6mm to 1.0mm crochet hook
• Tiny yellow glass seed beads with sewing needle and thread
• Polyester fiberfill stuffing

Instructions

Strawberry Body (Red Yarn):

• Rnd 1: Start with a MR, work 4 sc into the ring. (4 sts)
• Rnd 2: [sc, inc] repeat 2 times. (6 sts)
• Rnd 3: [2 sc, inc] repeat 2 times. (8 sts)
• Rnd 4: [sc, inc] repeat 4 times. (12 sts)
• Rnd 5: [2 sc, inc] repeat 4 times. (16 sts)
• Rnd 6-8: sc in each st around. (16 sts)
• Rnd 9: [2 sc, dec] repeat 4 times. (12 sts)
• Note: Start stuffing the strawberry firmly with fiberfill at this point.
• Rnd 10: [dec] repeat 6 times. (6 sts)
• Fasten off, leaving a short tail. Thread the tail through the remaining stitches, pull tight to close, and weave in the ends.

Green Calyx & Stem (Green Yarn):

• Rnd 1: Start with a MR, work 5 sc into the ring. Sl st to first sc to join.
• Leaf 1-5: [ch 3, sl st in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, sl st into the next st of Rnd 1] repeat 5 times around to create 5 tiny leaves.
• Stem loop: Before fastening off, ch 8, then sl st back into the center of the calyx to form a loop. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Assembly & Details:

• Using a fine sewing needle and yellow thread, sew small yellow seed beads randomly onto the red strawberry body to mimic seeds.
• Position the green calyx on top of the strawberry, aligning the stem loop in the center. Sew the calyx securely to the top of the strawberry using the green yarn tail.
• Attach a metal jump ring and keychain clasp to the green stem loop. Your micro strawberry is ready!
