Materials

• Fingering weight yarn in Rust/Brown, Grey, Light Blue, and Cream

Cat Head & Body (Grey Yarn):

Cat Ears, Arms & Tail (Grey Yarn):

• Ears (Make 2): Ch 3, sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.
• Arms & Legs (Make 4): Ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook and each remaining chain. Fasten off.
• Tail: Ch 8, sc in 2nd ch from hook and each remaining chain. Fasten off.

Armchair (Rust/Brown Yarn):

The armchair is made by crocheting individual rectangular panels for the base, backrest, and two armrests, then sewing them together with light stuffing to maintain shape.

• Base Seat: Ch 11. Work 10 rows of 10 sc. Fold and stuff lightly to form a thick square cushion.
• Backrest: Ch 11. Work 14 rows of 10 sc. Fold, stuff lightly, and sew to the back of the seat.
• Armrests (Make 2): Ch 6. Work 8 rows of 5 sc. Fold into a small tube, stuff slightly, and sew to the sides of the seat.
• Feet (Make 4): In Cream yarn, 5 sc in magic ring. Join and sew to the bottom corners of the chair.

Miniature Book:

• Pages (Cream): Ch 6. Work 4 rows of 5 sc. Fold in half.
• Cover (Blue): Ch 8. Work 4 rows of 7 sc. Wrap around the pages and stitch together through the center crease to secure.

Assembly & Keychain Attachment:

Position and sew the grey cat securely onto the armchair cushion. Attach the arms holding the open miniature book in front of the cat. Sew the tail to the back/side of the cat, wrapping it around the chair. Securely attach the keychain loop through the top center of the armchair’s backrest, adding a wooden bead for a clean, decorative finish.
