Instructions

Sizing Note: This pattern is written for size Small/Medium. You can easily adjust the width by adding or subtracting starting chains in multiples of 4, keeping the central motifs centered.

Colorwork Technique: This pattern utilizes tapestry crochet. Carry unused yarn colors along the back of your work, crocheting over them with the active color to ensure a neat, reversible appearance.

Front Panel:

1. Start at the bottom hem with Red yarn. Ch 81. Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn.

2. Rows 2-5: Work in sc, creating the bottom border. Switch to White and Green yarn to work the ‘CANALEROS’ text, palm trees, and soccer balls according to your chart placement.

3. Rows 6-30: Switch to MC (Navy Blue). Work the central FEPAFUT shield, tropical hibiscus flowers, and palm trees using intarsia/tapestry techniques.

4. Rows 31-45: Work the ‘PANAMÁ’ lettering across the chest in White with Red borders.
