Materials

• White sport/DK weight yarn
• Grey sport/DK weight yarn
• Small amounts of Red embroidery floss or thin yarn

• Small amounts of Light Grey embroidery floss or thin yarn
• 2.0mm crochet hook
• Polyester fiberfill for stuffing

Instructions

Soleplate (Grey Yarn):

• Ch 10.
• R1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 7 ch, 3sc in last ch. Continue on other side of ch: sc in next 7 ch, 2sc in last ch. (20 sts)
• R2: [Inc, sc in next 7, inc, sc in next 1] twice. (24 sts)
• R3: Sc in each st around. (24 sts)
• Sl st to first sc. FO and weave in ends.

Iron Body (White Yarn):

• Ch 10.
• R1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 7 ch, 3sc in last ch. Continue on other side of ch: sc in next 7 ch, 2sc in last ch. (20 sts)
• R2: [Inc, sc in next 7, inc, sc in next 1] twice. (24 sts)
• R3 (BLO): Sc in BLO around. (24 sts)
• R4-6: Sc in each st around. (24 sts)
• R7: Sc 7, dec, sc 10, dec, sc 3. (22 sts)
• R8: Sc in each st around. (22 sts)
• R9: Sc 6, dec, sc 9, dec, sc 3. (20 sts)
• R10: Sc in each st around. (20 sts)
• R11: Sc 5, dec, sc 8, dec, sc 3. (18 sts)
• R12: Sc in each st around. (18 sts)

• Start stuffing the body firmly, shaping the front point.
• FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Handle (White Yarn):

• Ch 12.
• R1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 10 ch. Ch 1, turn. (11 sts)
• R2-3: Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn. (11 sts)
• FO, leaving a long tail. Fold the crocheted strip into a ‘U’ shape to form the handle.

Power Cord (Grey, Red, Blue Yarn):

• With grey yarn, Ch 25.
• With red yarn, make a tiny knot/stitch near one end of the grey chain.
• With blue yarn, make a tiny knot/stitch next to the red one. Tie off securely.

Assembly and Details:

• Sew the white Iron Body onto the grey Soleplate, ensuring the front point aligns. Continue stuffing lightly as you sew to maintain shape.
• Sew the ‘U’-shaped white Handle to the top of the iron body.
• Attach the knotted end of the Power Cord to the back top of the iron body, just below the handle.
• Using embroidery floss or thin yarn and a yarn needle, embroider the details onto the side of the iron body:
  • With yellow, create a small French knot or a few stitches for the temperature knob.
  • With light grey, create a small French knot or a few stitches for the steam button.
  • With blue, embroider two parallel horizontal lines for the water tank window.
  • With red, embroider small dots or short lines for the steam vents on the front.
• Attach a keychain ring to the top of the handle.
