Materials

• Sport weight yarn in White (Color A)
• Sport weight yarn in Red (Color B)
• Sport weight yarn in Dark Grey (Color C)
• 2.5mm crochet hook

Instructions

Sole (using Color C – Dark Grey)

• Row 1: Ch 7. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 4 ch, 3 sc in last ch. Working down the other side of the chain: sc in next 4 ch, 2 sc in last ch. Join with sl st to first sc. (14 sts)
• Round 2: Ch 1, inc, sc in next 4, inc 3 times, sc in next 4, inc 2 times. Join with sl st. (20 sts)
• Round 3: Ch 1, sc around. Join with sl st. (20 sts)
• FO Color C.

Boot Upper (using Color A – White)

• Round 4: Join Color A in BLO of any st from Round 3. Ch 1, sc in BLO around. Join with sl st. (20 sts)
• Round 5-7: Ch 1, sc around. Join with sl st. (20 sts)
• Round 8 (Toe Shaping): Ch 1, sc in next 6 sts, dec 4 times, sc in next 6 sts. Join with sl st. (16 sts)
• Round 9 (Ankle Opening): Ch 1, sc in next 4 sts, ch 8, skip 8 sts, sc in next 4 sts. Join with sl st. (8 sc + 8 ch = 16 sts total)
