Materials

• 2.0mm crochet hook

Instructions

Sole (Start with Black yarn)

• Ch 8.
• Round 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 5 ch, 3 sc in last ch. Continue on the other side of the starting chain: sc in next 5 ch, 2 sc in last ch. (16 sts)
• Round 2: Inc in first st, sc in next 5 sts, inc in next 3 sts, sc in next 5 sts, inc in next 2 sts. (22 sts)
• Round 3: Sc in BLO around. (22 sts)
• Sl st to first sc. FO Black yarn.

Upper (Switch to White yarn)

• Attach White yarn to any stitch on the last round.
• Round 4-5: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join with sl st to first sc. (22 sts)
• Round 6 (Toe shaping): Ch 1, sc in next 8 sts, dec, sc in next 2 sts, dec, sc in next 8 sts. Join with sl st. (20 sts)
• Round 7: Ch 1, sc in next 7 sts, dec, sc in next 2 sts, dec, sc in next 7 sts. Join with sl st. (18 sts)

Lightly stuff the toe and front of the boot with fiberfill.

Collar/Trim (Switch to Red yarn)

• Attach Red yarn at the back heel, at the top edge.
• Round 13: Ch 1, sc evenly around the entire top edge of the boot, including along the inner edges of the lace flaps and across the heel opening. Join with sl st to first sc. (Adjust stitch count to ensure a neat finish, approximately 20-24 sc).
• Round 14: Ch 1, sc in each st around. Join with sl st. (Same stitch count as R13). FO.

Laces (White yarn)

• Ch 25-30. FO.
• Thread the chain through the “eyelets” formed by the edges of the lace flaps, lacing it up like a real shoe. Tie a small bow.

Sole Studs (Black yarn)

• Using Black yarn and a tapestry needle, create 6-8 small French knots or tiny embroidered dots evenly spaced on the bottom of the black sole to represent studs.

Egyptian Flag Detail (Red, White, Black, Gold yarn)

• On the side of the boot, using a tapestry needle:
• Embroider a small rectangle for the flag. Use Red for the top stripe, White for the middle, and Black for the bottom.
