Materials

• White sport/DK weight yarn
• Green sport/DK weight yarn
• Red sport/DK weight yarn
• Black sport/DK weight yarn
• 2.0mm or 2.5mm crochet hook
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch marker
• Small amount of fiberfill for stuffing
• Keychain ring

Abbreviations

• MR: Magic Ring
• ch: chain
• sc: single crochet
• inc: increase (2 single crochet in one stitch)
• dec: decrease (single crochet 2 stitches together)
• sl st: slip stitch
• BLO: back loop only
• FO: fasten off

Instructions

Sole (White Yarn)

• Ch 8.
• R1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 5 ch, 3 sc in last ch. Turn to work on other side of ch: sc in next 5 ch, 2 sc in last ch. (16 stitches)
• R2: [Inc, sc in next 5, inc] x 2. (20 stitches)
• R3: Sc in each stitch around. (20 stitches). FO.

Boot Base & Body

• Green Sole Edge (Green Yarn): Attach green yarn to any stitch in R3 of the sole. Ch 1, sc in BLO of each stitch around. (20 sc). Join with sl st. (This creates the distinct sole edge).
• White Boot Body (White Yarn): Ch 1, sc in each stitch around (working into both loops of the green stitches). (20 sc). Join with sl st.
• R2-R5: Ch 1, sc in each stitch around. (20 sc). Join with sl st. (4 rounds)
• R6: Ch 1, sc in next 8, dec, sc in next 8, dec. (18 sc). Join with sl st. (Start stuffing lightly here.)
• R7: Ch 1, sc in next 7, dec, sc in next 7, dec. (16 sc). Join with sl st.
• FO White Yarn, leaving a long tail for shaping the opening if needed.

Green Ankle Trim & Keychain Loop (Green Yarn)

• Attach green yarn to the back center of the boot opening.
• R8: Ch 1, sc in next 16 stitches around the opening. Join with sl st.
• R9: Ch 1, sc in next 16 stitches around. Join with sl st.
• At the back of the heel, ch 10-12, sl st into the same stitch to form a loop. Securely attach a metal keychain ring to this loop.
• FO Green Yarn, weave in ends.

Tongue (White Yarn)

• Ch 4.
• R1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 2 ch. (3 sc). Turn.
• R2-R4: Ch 1, sc in next 3. Turn. (3 rows)
• FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Assembly & Details

• Tongue: Sew the Tongue piece to the inside front of the boot opening, slightly recessed, filling the gap.
• Laces (Red Yarn): Cut two long pieces of red yarn. Thread them through stitches on either side of the boot opening, criss-crossing over the tongue, and tie a small bow at the top.
• Moroccan Emblem (Red & Green Yarn):
  • Red Circle: Using Red yarn, make a MR, ch 1, 8 sc in ring, sl st to first sc. FO.
  • Green Star: Using green yarn and a tapestry needle, embroider a five-pointed star onto the red circle.
  • Sew the completed emblem onto the outer side of the white boot body.
• “MOROCCO 10” (Green Yarn): Using green yarn and a tapestry needle, embroider “MOROCCO” and “10” on the side of the boot, opposite the emblem, as seen in the image.
• Cleats (Black Yarn): Using black yarn and a tapestry needle, embroider small French knots or small straight stitches on the bottom of the green sole to represent the cleats.
• Weave in all remaining loose ends.
