Scuba Diver Penguin Amigurumi

Skill level: Intermediate
Finished size: Approx. 15–20 cm (6–8 inches) tall
Yarn: DK or light worsted yarn (colors: black, white, teal, orange, grey)
Hook: 2.5 mm (or size that suits your yarn)

• 8 mm safety eyes
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Yarn needle
• Stitch markers
• Thin clear plastic or vinyl (optional, for inside goggles)
• Small length of black pipe cleaner or embroidery thread (for snorkel mouthpiece)

Belly Patch (White – Oval Flat Piece)

1. CH 6
2. SC in 2nd ch from hook and next 3, 3 SC in last, continue around: 3 SC, 2 SC in first [12]

   FO, leave long tail. Sew to front center of body.

Wings (Make 2 – Black)

   Flatten slightly, FO and leave tail to sew to sides.

Feet (Make 2 – Orange)

   FO and stuff lightly. Flatten and sew to bottom front of body.

Beak (Orange)

Goggles Frame (Grey)

1. CH 26, join with SL ST to form a ring
2. SC around [26]
3. BLO: (SC, INC) x13 [39]
   FO and leave tail. Stretch gently and sew around the eyes, adjusting shape if needed.

Goggles Lens (Optional)

Cut small ovals of transparent plastic or use tulle/organza. Sew or glue to inside of goggles before attaching to head.

Snorkel (Grey with Black Tip)

1. CH 12
2. Starting from 2nd CH, SC back [11]
   FO, shape into snorkel and attach to one side of the goggles.
   (Optional: wrap bottom tip with black thread to mimic a mouthpiece.)

Assembly

1. Sew the belly patch to the front center of the body.
2. Attach wings on each side of the body.
3. Sew feet flat to the base.
4. Sew the beak under the eyes.
5. Attach the goggles gently around the eyes.
6. Position and sew the snorkel to the side of the head, attaching to the goggles.
7. Optional: Embroider eyebrows or blush with pink thread for expression.
