Materials

Instructions

Step 1: Main Bodice Panel
Using White yarn, ch 61 (or a multiple of 2 + 1 to fit your waist size).
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. (60 sts)
Rows 2-40: Continue in sc tapestry crochet, incorporating the words ‘HAITI’ in blue at the top and ‘NATIONAL TEAM’ in red at the bottom, following a pixel grid for the lettering. Change colors to Royal Blue at the sides to create the framing border. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Step 2: Bottom Ruffle Border
Join Royal Blue yarn at the bottom foundation row of the bodice.
Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc), work 2 dc in each st across to create a light ruffle, turn.
Row 2: Change to Red yarn. Ch 4, skip 1 st, sc in next st, *ch 3, skip 1 st, sc in next st* repeat across to form the delicate looped edging. Fasten off.

Step 3: Straps (Make 2)
