Materials

Instructions

Central Emblem (Shield & Background): Start with a magic ring using Navy Blue yarn. Round 1: Ch 2 (does not count as st), 12 dc in ring, join with sl st. Round 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in each st around, join. Swap to White and Gold to work the central shield motif using tapestry crochet or surface slip stitch embroidery after completing the base. Round 3: With Navy Blue, *ch 3, skip 1, sc in next*, repeat around. Round 4: Working in ch-3 spaces, work 5 dc in each space to form a scalloped edge.

Mandala Border & Squaring: Swap to Mustard Gold. Work post stitches around the scallops to define the peaks. Switch to Crimson Red to begin squaring off the circle.
