Use felt or crochet a small zigzag using ch and sl sts. Sew or glue onto the front of the cape.

Assembly

Sew muzzle to face, embroider nose and mouth with black yarn.
Attach ears to top sides of head.
Sew limbs symmetrically.
Attach tail.
Tie cape around the neck and sew lightly in place if needed.
