Instructions

Step 1: Top Ribbed Band (Green)

With green yarn, chain 11. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. Row 2: Ch 1, sc in BLO of each st across, turn. Repeat Row 2 until the ribbed band measures approximately 8 inches (or fits the desired front neckline width). Do not fasten off.

Step 2: Main Body (Red Mesh)

Rotate work to stitch along the long edge of the green ribbing. Join red yarn. Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as dc), work 1 dc into each row-end of the ribbing, turn. Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as dc + ch 1), skip 1 st, *dc in next st, ch 1, skip 1 st* repeat to end, turn. Row 3: Ch 3, dc in each dc and ch-1 space across, increasing at the beginning and end of the row to shape the bust. Step 3: Bottom Band (Stripes)

Join green yarn at the bottom edge of the red body. Row 1: Ch 1, sc across the entire bottom edge, turn. Row 2-3 (Green): Ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn.
