Materials

• Fine cotton crochet thread in Beige (for band), Dark Red (for cherries), and Green (for leaves/stems)

Instructions

Main Band (Beige Yarn):

• Ch 75 (or desired length, ensuring it’s a multiple of 3 + 3 for an even pattern).
• R1: Sc in 4th ch from hook (counts as 1st ch-3 space and sc). *Ch 3, skip 2 ch, sc in next ch. Repeat from * across. FO, leaving a tail for weaving.

Cherry (make 6-8):

Using Dark Red yarn:

1. R1: 6 sc in MR. Join with sl st to first sc. (6 stitches)
2. R2: Ch 1, Inc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. (12 stitches)
3. R3: Ch 1, Sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. (12 stitches)
4. R4: Ch 1, Dec in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. (6 stitches)
5. FO, leaving a short tail for cinching closed and weaving. Cinch the remaining hole closed with the tail.

Individual Leaf (make 2 per cherry cluster, so approx. 12-16 total):

Using Green yarn:

1. Ch 4.
2. Sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, hdc in last ch.
3. Ch 1, turn. Sl st into the top of the hdc stitch, sc into the top of the sc stitch, sl st into the top of the sl st stitch.
4. FO, leaving a short tail for weaving.

Assembly:

• For each Cherry Cluster (you’ll make 6-8, typically 3-4 clusters for a bracelet):
  • Take two completed Dark Red cherries.
  • With Green yarn, ch 5. Sl st into the top of one cherry. Ch 3, sl st into the top of the second cherry. This forms the cherry stem. Do NOT cut yarn yet.
  • Attach two Green leaves to the center of the Ch 5 stem you just made (where the two cherries meet). Use the tails of the leaves to securely tie them to the stem, then weave in ends.
  • Now, attach this completed Cherry Cluster to the main Beige band. Find a suitable ch-3 space on the band. Using the working yarn from the green stem, sl st into that ch-3 space, then ch 1, sl st back into the same ch-3 space to secure. FO, weave in all green tails.
• Repeat the above steps for all desired cherry clusters, spacing them evenly along the Beige band.
• Once all clusters are attached, create a loop at one end of the Beige band by folding a small section (approx. 1 inch) and securely sewing it down with Beige yarn.
• At the other end of the band, attach a small button or a bead that fits through the loop, or simply create a secure knot for closure.
• Weave in all remaining loose ends securely.
