Materials

• Fingering weight yarn in White and Red
• Fine embroidery thread in White, Red, and Blue
• 2.0 mm crochet hook
• Fiberfill stuffing
• Keychain ring with chain link

• sc – single crochet
• inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
• dec – decrease (sc 2 together)
• BLO – back loop only

Instructions

Toothpaste Cap & Body (Worked from top to bottom)

Using Red yarn:

Rnd 1: Start with a magic ring, 6 sc in ring (6)

Rnd 2: [inc] in each stitch around (12)

Rnd 3: Working in BLO, sc in each stitch around (12)

Rnd 4: [sc in next 2 sts, dec] around (9)

Rnd 5: Working in FLO, sc in each stitch around (9)

Rnd 6-7: sc in each stitch around (9)

Change to White yarn:

Rnd 8: Working in FLO, [inc] in each stitch around (18)

Rnd 9: [sc in next 2 sts, inc] around (24)

Rnd 10-25: sc in each stitch around (24)

Stuff the main body lightly with fiberfill, keeping the top neck rigid.

Rnd 26: Flatten the bottom edge of the tube. Working through both layers to close the bottom, sc across (12 sc). Fasten off and weave in the ends.

Red Front Emblem Patch

Using Red yarn:

Row 1: Ch 5, starting in the 2nd ch from hook, sc 4, ch 1, turn (4)

Row 2: Inc, sc 2, inc, ch 1, turn (6)

Row 3-7: sc 6, ch 1, turn (6)

Row 8: Dec, sc 2, dec (4)

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew the red emblem patch diagonally onto the front upper center of the white toothpaste body.

Assembly and Details

• Embroidery: Using fine white embroidery thread, embroider the word ‘Colgate’ across the red patch. Use red thread to embroider the word ‘Total’ directly onto the white body beneath the red patch. Add a tiny blue and red wave graphic above the lettering.
• Keychain Attachment: Securely attach the keychain ring through the stitches of the red cap at the top.
