Instructions

Radio Body (White Yarn)

• Foundation: Ch 9.
• Round 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 6 ch, 3 sc in last ch. Working on the other side of the foundation chain: sc in next 6 ch, 2 sc in last ch. (18 sc)
• Rounds 2-7: Sc in each st around. (18 sc)
• Stuff the radio body lightly with fiberfill.
• Flatten the opening and sc across through both layers to close the top of the radio body. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Antenna (Grey & Black Yarn, optional wire)

• Antenna Tip (Black Yarn): Make a MR, sc 4 into ring. Pull ring tight. Sl st to first sc. Fasten off, leaving a short tail.
• Antenna Shaft (Light Grey Yarn): Ch 10 around a piece of floral wire (if using, ensuring wire extends slightly from one end). Sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (9 sl st) Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
• Sew the black tip to one end of the grey shaft. Trim any excess wire from the bottom if used.

Handle (Black Yarn)

• Ch 10. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (9 sc) Fasten off, leaving long tails for sewing.

Knobs (Black Yarn, Make 3)

• Make a MR, sc 6 into ring. Pull ring tight. Sl st to first sc. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Speaker Grill (Light Grey Yarn)

• Row 1: Ch 5. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (4 sc) Ch 1, turn.

Tuning Display (Light Grey Yarn)

• Fasten off at end of Row 3, leaving a long tail for sewing.
• Using Black yarn and a tapestry needle, embroider a few horizontal lines and the text “AM/FM 98.1” onto the display.

Assembly

• Position and sew the Speaker Grill onto the lower-left front of the white radio body.
• Position and sew the Tuning Display onto the upper-right front of the white radio body.
• Using Black yarn and a tapestry needle, embroider “VOL” below the area where the left knob will be placed, and “TUN” below the area where the right knob will be placed. Embroider “AM/FM” below the “TUN” text.
• Sew two of the black knobs onto the radio body, centering one above the “VOL” text and one above the “TUN” text.
• Sew the third black knob to the right side of the radio body.
• Sew the antenna to the top-left side of the radio body, slightly angled.
• Sew the handle to the top of the radio body, centered between the antenna and the right side.
• Attach the keychain ring with chain to the top-right side of the radio body.
• Weave in all remaining loose ends securely.
