Materials

• Sport or DK weight yarn in Red, Black, Yellow, Blue
• 2.0mm crochet hook
• Polyester fiberfill for stuffing
• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers (optional)
• Keychain ring with chain

Abbreviations

• MR: Magic Ring

Instructions

This pattern is worked in continuous rounds unless otherwise specified. Use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of each round.

Main Body (Red)

Using Red yarn:

• Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• Rnd 2-15: sc around (6)
• Stuff firmly as you go. FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Handlebar Post (Red)

Using Red yarn:

• Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• Rnd 2-5: sc around (6)
• Stuff firmly. FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Rear Axle (Red)

Using Red yarn:

• Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• Rnd 2-8: sc around (6)
• Stuff firmly. FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Handlebars (Red & Yellow)

Yellow Grips (Make 2)

• Using Yellow yarn:
• Rnd 1: 4 sc in MR (4)
• Rnd 2: sc around (4)
• FO, leaving a tail for sewing.

Red Bar

• Using Red yarn:
• Ch 10. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, 8 sc across.
• FO, leaving a tail for sewing.
• Attach one Yellow Grip to each end of the Red Bar using your tapestry needle.

Seat (Blue)

Using Blue yarn:

• Ch 6.
• Rnd 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, 3 sc, 3 sc in last ch. Continue on the other side of the chain: 4 sc, 2 sc in last ch (12)
• Rnd 2: (inc, 4 sc, inc) x 2 (16)
• Rnd 3: sc around (16). Sl st to first sc.
• FO, leaving a long tail for sewing. Flatten and shape into a seat.

Wheels (Black with Yellow Centers – Make 3)

Black Wheel (Make 3)

• Using Black yarn:
• Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• Rnd 2: (inc) x 6 (12)
• Rnd 3: (sc, inc) x 6 (18)
• Rnd 4: sc around (18)
• Rnd 5: (sc, dec) x 6 (12)
• Rnd 6: (dec) x 6 (6)
• Stuff lightly. Close the opening with a tapestry needle. FO, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Yellow Hub (Make 3)

• Using Yellow yarn:
• Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6). Sl st to first sc.
• FO, leaving a tail for sewing.
• Sew one Yellow Hub to the center of one side of each Black Wheel.

Pedals (Yellow – Make 2)

Using Yellow yarn:

• Rnd 1: 5 sc in MR (5)
• Rnd 2: sc around (5)
• FO, leaving a tail for sewing.

Assembly

1. Frame Assembly: Using the long tail, sew one end of the Handlebar Post (red) to one end of the Main Body Tube (red). This forms the front.
2. Rear Axle Attachment: Sew the middle of the Rear Axle (red) horizontally to the back end of the Main Body Tube. Ensure it’s centered.
3. Wheel Attachment: Attach one prepared Black Wheel to the bottom of the Handlebar Post (front wheel). Attach the remaining two Black Wheels to the ends of the Rear Axle (back wheels).
4. Handlebars: Sew the assembled red and yellow handlebars to the top of the Handlebar Post.
5. Seat: Sew the blue seat to the top of the Main Body Tube, positioning it behind the Handlebar Post.
6. Pedals: Sew the yellow pedals to the lower part of the Handlebar Post, near where the front wheel attaches, making sure they face outwards.
7. Keychain Ring: Securely attach the keychain ring to the top of the Handlebar Post or the Main Body Tube.
